Armenian Genocide

The Armenian Genocide was a massacre commited by the Turkish State to the Armenians between 1915 and 1918. We commemorated the Armenian Genocide on April 24 because that day was the comence of the atrocities commited by the Ottoman Empire. In this slaughter 1,500,000 of Armenians died, this people died in differents forms. Some were assassinated, others were carry to the Derelzhor desert in Siria, in order to die of hunger and thirst. There were a lot of foreigners in the Ottoman Empire who witnessed the deportations. Turkey dismisses the evidence about the atrocities as mere allegations and regularly obstructs efforts for acknowledgment. A lot of countries don't recognize the Armenian Genocide because they have commercial transactions with Turkey.
